The Grizzlies' largest lead during the skid is just five points. Memphis is 0-15 this season when failing to reach 20 points in the first quarter. Point guard Mike Conley is averaging 12.5 points on 55-percent shooting to go with 3.5 assists in the last two games. THE SKINNY

Memphis' six-game losing streak is currently tied with the Toronto Raptors for the longest active slump in the NBA. Memphis owns a 7-2 record in the all-time series with Charlotte but is 2-15 overall on the road this season. The Bobcats beat Grizzlies 112-83 on Dec. 19, setting franchise records for field goal percentage in a game (.658 on 50-76 shooting) and a half (.722 on 26-36 shooting in the first half) and falling one shy of the franchise record for field goals in a game. The Bobcats' field goal percentage for the game set an NBA season high.

THE QUOTE

"In time we will win. Sometimes we have to lose the hard way, but I think everybody is on the same page." - Griz rookie center Marc Gasol on the team's skid.
