ON THE COURT
PLAYER OF THE GAME: Bucks forward Charlie Villanueva was strong after missing four games with a hamstring pull, coming off the bench to score 20 on 8-for-12 shooting in 13 minutes. He also had six rebounds. "He was good," coach Scott Skiles said. "He had small guys on him down there and he was scoring on them. I thought he was very good." PLAY OF THE GAME: Bucks forward Richard Jefferson hit a three-pointer to open the third quarter and the Bucks quickly extended a three-point halftime lead to 10.
STATISTICS SHEET: The Knicks made two of 21 three-point shots through three quarters (9.5%) and ended up making seven of 30 from beyond the arc (23.3%)."Our three-point defense statistically is pretty good," Skiles said. "But I also felt like they missed some."
OFF THE BENCH: To make room for Villanueva on the roster, the Bucks put center Dan Gadzuric on the inactive list for the game.
