Charlotte Bobcats Roster Report 2009-01-30

Charlotte Bobcats Roster Report 2009-01-30
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Raymond Felton, Shooting guard Raja Bell, Small forward Adam Morrison, Power forward Boris Diaw, Center Emeka Okafor. Bench -- Forward Juwan Howard, Guard Shannon Brown, Guard Sean Singletary, Center DeSagana Diop.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Boris Diaw will play more at small forward in Gerald Wallace's absence, which likely means more playing time off the bench for Juwan Howard at power forward.

--F Cartier Martin, a developmental-league player from Kansas State, will sign with the Bobcats Thursday, filling the roster spot opened in the 2-for-1 trade with the Dallas Mavericks.

--G Sean Singletary is struggling as Raymond Felton's backup. He had three turnovers and no assists in 12 minutes versus the Blazers.

--F Adam Morrison did little as a fill-in starter for Gerald Wallace, shooting 2-of-6 for four points. Coach Larry Brown believes Morrison has lost his confidence.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F Gerald Wallace (broken rib, collapsed lung) is still hospitalized in Los Angeles.

--G D.J. Augustin (abdominal strain) likely won't play before late next week.
