PLAYER NOTES: --F Sean May is back in the starting lineup and he'll stay there so long as he doesn't get overweight again. The Bobcats need his size to counter constant mismatches at power forward.
--G Matt Carroll got his first start of the season, replacing G Jason Richardson, who figures to sit out a week or so with an inflamed right knee.
--C Nazr Mohammed was the only active Bobcat not to play Friday. Perhaps it was just the matchup Friday, but Mohammed hasn't reached 10 minutes in a game since the opener.
--G Raymond Felton should get used to being a combo guard. Each of three Bobcats' coaches have moved key minutes of playing time to other players, whether it be Brevin Knight, Jeff McInnis or rookie D.J. Augustin.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Jason Richardson has right knee inflammation and might miss a week or more of games. However, an MRI and an exploratory arthroscopic procedure detected no structural damage.
