--The Bobcats will play the Trail Blazers in Portland Saturday night to finally get off the road. The Blazers game will be their 10th road game over an 11-game span, as the team cleared out to make way for college basketball at Bobcats Arena.
--If only the Charlotte Bobcats could only schedule 20 more games against the Northwest Division. They're 6-2 against that division, with two games to go, following a 96-93 victory Friday night against the Seattle SuperSonics at Key Arena. The Bobcats' remaining games against the Northwest are in Portland on Saturday night and at home against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Bobcats have a losing record against each of the other five divisions in the NBA.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "We were fortunate that we were able to get to the rim and Raymond Felton, he made some big shots down the stretch. He's continuing to grow, game by game." -- Bobcat coach Sam Vincent.
