Charlotte Bobcats Notes, Quotes 2009-11-06

Charlotte Bobcats Notes, Quotes 2009-11-06--The Bobcats are starting out as perhaps the most inept team offensively in a long time. They are last in the NBA in points scored and field-goal percentage and have a negative assist-to-turnover ratio. One redeeming factor is their improved effort to get to the foul line. They've taken 116 free throws. Opponents have taken 69.

--Rebounding -- not historically a Bobcats strength -- appears to be improving. They lead the league in defensive-rebound percentage, grabbing 80 percent of opponent misses, and are seventh in total-rebound percentage at 53 percent.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "Where we get hurt is there's no defense for a turnover or (allowing) a second shot. We simply commit too many unforced errors (resulting in) too many empty possessions." -- Coach Larry Brown on his team's negative assist-to-turnover ratio.
