Charlotte Bobcats Notes, Quotes 2008-11-30
--The Bobcats have promoted the fact that the team is allowing the fourth-fewest points per game (92.6) in the league, but that is more the function of a deliberate pace than great defense. Field-goal-percentage defense places the Bobcats in the middle of the NBA (17th), as they've allowed opponents to shoot 45.2 percent.

--The Bobcats' early schedule has been a mixed blessing; 11 of the first 16 were at home, but 10 of those games were against likely playoff teams. That should make the next three a time to improve -- home games against lottery teams Minnesota and Oklahoma City and a winnable road game in Milwaukee.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "It's the same old thing: We can beat Houston, but we can't beat Charlotte." -- Pacers F Danny Granger, to the Indianapolis Star, on how losing at home to the Bobcats is an embarrassing defeat.
