--Dallas continues to be one of two teams in the NBA the Bobcats
have never beaten (0-9 all-time). The other is the Phoenix Suns (0-8 all-time.)
--The Bobcats have improved their foul-shooting this season (15th
currently, versus 29th last season) and that might have something to
do with the "free-throw school" assistant coach Jeff Capel runs
following each practice. Gerald Wallace, Jason Richardson and Jared
Dudley -- three weak foul-shooters in the rotation -- each shoot three
sets of 10 free throws in the school, with military-style exercises as
the penalty when they miss.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "He's a really sensitive kid, so I'm a little
nervous about joining the ranks of people telling him what to do." --
Coach Larry Brown, on his reluctance so far to directly lobby Antonio
McDyess to join the Bobcats.
